Afternoon Delight by Ronna Gage

Ronna Gage's Coming To America Book 2

Lords Martin Novak and Gregory Evigan sat atop the observatory deck gazing the massive amount of stars in the cloudless night, talking about the various exciting and unexciting moments on the journey they encountered while traversing across the Atlantic Ocean. Suddenly, out of the left corner of his eye Martin detects something. He investigates and in his joy, he taps Gregory on the arm.

“What the hell do you want? That was rude by the way.” Gregory corrected of Martins ungentlemanly like manners.

“I thought you might like to know about the land mass to our left.” Martin answered.

“The what, where?”

“You heard me.” Martin jumped down and jogged to the port side of the ship.

“You keep your eye on the distance and figure as best as you can.” Marty gave him a seriously annoyed look. “Excuse me, jack of all trades. I’ll get Johan and see how far out we are out.” All of fifteen minutes later, Greg came back with barely a smile. “We can’t roust the passengers yet, nor can we sound the blow horn to let other ships know we are coming in.”

“What’s the good news, Greg?”

“We will be in New York by breakfast.”

The two brothers danced around in gladness.

Martin, I’m glad to have shared this adventure with you, but six months on a ship is plenty of time. I’m ready to disembark.
